Here are a few things I did this year.
I moved to Provo and got my own room for pretty much the first time in my whole life.
I taught Gemma how to make fish lips.
I solidified my personal photography style.
I learned that being my own boss is far more rewarding than working for anyone else. And also way more work and dedication.
I made friendships that will last a lifetime.
I watched the whole series of Gilmore Girls while editing shoots.
I kept in contact with my closest friends from college and saw them fairly regularly.
I trespassed more times than I can count.
I got a snap chat. And mostly used it at 2am with Lindy.
I learned how to sew a lot better and made some pretty curtains and lots of aprons...
I decorated my room in the perfect Brianna style.
I crossed several things off my bucket list
I bought a new car.
I learned how to change the oil in my car.
I taught Gemma how to say that her favorite aunt is Anna.
I taught Gemma to love taking pictures.
I became the relief society president and subsequently learned a bajillion new things like how to conduct a meeting, how to love in a different way, humility, and that God really does qualify who he calls. I also learned that relaxed Sundays don't exist most of the time.
I bought a gym membership and have used it consistently for a little over a month now and have lost 15 pounds. I still can't do a pull up. Trying to come to terms with the possibility of this never happening. haha
I saw my little siblings grow up so fast in this year and become people I wish I could have been at their age.
I found out I'm going to be an aunt again. This time to a baby boy!! And I felt him kick. :D
I can run a faster mile than I think I ever have in my life.
I bought my first hipster item: thick-framed glasses.
I did not leave the state of Utah. (I want to cry for this)
Ive put 10% of everything I've made into a savings account and haven't
touched it. But really want to go back to Europe with it.
Shot for 2 businesses: Applebee's and Hot Mess cosmetics.
Went to the temple at least twice a month.
I taught Gemma how to dip cookies in milk. Gained a more personal relationship with my savior and better learned how to use His atonement in my everyday life. Especially for things un-related to sin.
The first time in my life that I have felt like a real adult.... {only sometimes.}
Gained way more confidence in myself and am happy where I am in life.
