Safe Haven Hot Kiss Scene.

So remember how I talked for way too long about the hot first kiss on Safe Haven. Well someone finally recorded it from their phone and put it on youtube!!
Yay for other people!

So this is really cruddy quality, but maybe you can get the idea.

once again, it makes me want to go see the movie again, just for this scene.

Don't judge me. Or you can. I don't even care if it's in regards to this kiss.
Steamy. :D

New Idea.

Okay, so I'm a pro at writing lists. I really like categorizing things and lists are a good way of doing this. So, I'm going to try and do "List of the week" {or more, if I feel like it.} and post it on my blog. I saw this idea a while ago on a blog but to see this person's list you had to pay 8 dollars. I feel like that's ridiculous, so I'll give you mine for free. {you're welcome}

This week's is going to be Brianna's favorite and least favorite colors.

Favorite Colors {in no specific order}-

Orange. I like most shades. pumpkin, orange creme, peach, soft.  not neon.

Yellow. I recently really love this color. lemon, mustard, fall. not neon.

Purple. deep, light, lavender, violet,

Pink. yeah I said it. I like pink. it's feminine. all shades.

Cream/ivory. it reminds me of natural sunlight filtering through my windows. It's more natural than white, and it doesn't wash one's skin out as much.

Blue. Navy, Aggie, Orem, sky, pretty much all.

Red. Lipstick, nails polish, love. it's a good color.

Least Favorite colors-

forrest green. It is just kinda ugly to me. {it's another reason why I could never have gone to UVU.}

the weird in between green and yellow. it's awkward.

the weird in between purple and pink. I like truer colors.

maroon. it reminds me of a bad wedding color.

Neons- we're not in the 80's anymore, ya'll.

Colors are a great way to express how you feel and they bring life into something that normally wouldn't have it. One day, when I own my own house, it's going to be colored well. :D

Also, I've been asked to be a guest blogger on another blog! Check back for more info in days to come! {I'm kinda excited!}

In Which I Celebrate Valentines Day. {and the story of the beard in a bag that Katie smelt}

So I slaved in the kitchen for at least 10 hours making this thing. Completely from scratch, 4 tiered cakes are time suckers. But it was fun.

I went over to Lauren & Katie's house and we made Heart shaped pizza.
Pictured below- Katie in her homemade heart sweater.

this is super tender. everyone is so happy I had to turn it to Black and White.

All the single ladies.

Lauren grabbed a few that I'm in too.

I feel like the center of attention here.

we're all awesome.

Beth made a cherry dessert. We were really into the red theme.

Question- how many TBLS of red food coloring do you think i used in the red velvet cake?

love this gal. I'm so glad Lauren and I are friends. I think it's been like 5 years now?

note- Katie making a heart over her face.

lauren thought that it was my wedding and photographed me cutting my cake from literally every angle.

how cool is that?? I can't even believe it actually worked!

Okay during dinner we all shared our worst date experience and the funny part was almost everyone's was a blind date and they thought the guy was gay by the end of the date. haha. I didn't realize how many people actually have this experience! One of my friends this has happened to like 4 times!
I told my story about my blind date with a kid named "chief" I still think mine is the worst....

We went and saw "Safe Haven" and there were so many people there! I was surprised as to how many girls were there like our group.
It was an intense movie. I still am not entirely sure how I felt about it. Pretty cute, but probably not my favorite Nicholas Sparks movie. Although maybe it was because Josh Duhamel was in it.
Oh, and their first kiss was super hot. Like way hot. It's definitely going on my list of favorite movie kisses. It may even beat my favorite kiss in a movie {The prince and me, in the library} I'd probably watch it again just to see that kiss again. serious.
I wonder if I can find it on youtube....
nope. not yet. I'll keep checking back though.

So the best part of the entire night was after the movie when we were about to leave Lauren's apartment. Somehow, Katie got this guy in the art department's beard. Like he put it in a plastic bag and she stole it from his desk? Something like that. So she has this NASTAY beard in a bag and Beth wanted to see it. {I saw it like 5 days ago when she chucked it at me} and so beth is quite literally laughing harder than I've ever seen her laugh and trying to get a picture of the beard in a bag with Katie holding it. I was laughing, still kinda grossed out by the nastyness of it. But then theee very best part of the whole thing was when katie said, "I wonder what it smells like!"
If I had a video of the next 3 minutes of what went down after she said this, I'd be the winner on AFV. The face she made and shortness of breathe that came caused beth and I to quite literally almost pee our pants and throw up simultaneously from laughing so hard and being so grossed out by smell Katie was smelling. Then she tried to make us smell it, which we most certainly did not.

So, I'm not friends on Facebook with this guy, but he's pretty well known in the art department and so I facebook stalked him and have a picture for you to reference of his beard before he shaved it off.
I don't know him personally, but every time I've been around him he seems hilarious.

you're welcome.

So Valentines day was a pretty big success this year.

OH, and if any of you are shaving your beards off, Katie is accepting donations.

ANSW-8. 8 TBLS of red food coloring.

Life according to funny pictures I've taken

So sometimes There are really bizarre things that happen, and that people do that make my laugh. I'm just glad that sometimes I can capture them and share with you.

Disclaimer- All of these are taken with my phone. In other words, don't judge me based on these blurry, nasty pictures.

Why are they making Twinkie holders when there are no more Twinkies in the world? You can tell that I'm not the only one wondering this because it appears that no one has bought one yet. In case any of you would like to buy a Hostess product memorabilia, these things may in fact sell out rapidly so go purchase one of these handy trinkets at your local Smith's store.

At this store, every single battery was on sale. you couldn't even tell what battery was underneath the tags cause it was a wall full of just tags. I feel like if everything is on sale, then nothing really is on sale at all. But, if you do need to stalk up on probably almost expired, on-sale batteries, you can buy them at Smith's as well.

Next is a classic poor college student's creative way of making do. First, you have a wind shield wiper that has no squeegee {no red underline is coming up on that word, is that really how you spell it? If so, GO ME! I'm a pro at spelling weird words} on the wiper arm. This is pretty tragic considering Logan, Utah really likes to snow during the winter. And to make matters worse, the coin-fed dryer ate one of your socks last night. But, sometimes fantastic coincidences happen and instead of having a lonely sock and a windshield that only get's half wiped, the world is made right again. Congratulations car owner, you have passed the test of college living.

The solved problem of riding a bicycle and watching television in the warmth and comfort of your own home has been solved. I didn't even know these things existed. But, I'm sincerely glad I witnessed this. Andrew, you're awesome.

Sometimes you get huge surprises. Sometimes they come in your ice cream. This one is called a WHOLE Reeses peanut butter cup. Lucky Natalie! Jealous!

so the next picture I couldn't get in time {which I'm highly disappointed in myself because} but i will describe to you what I saw and an image i found online that matches the exact pair of leggings I witnessed. Okay so I saw this guy, who always wears super weird clothes around campus wearing these pants, and carrying a white prada purse in high heeled stiletto heels. Classy fellow. It was a boy. I know.

And, if you want to laugh a lot. visit here
My roommate Elisse kept asking me if I was okay because I was laughing so hard.

But in all seriousness, I've been wearing my new red lipstick in honor of Valentines week. :D

{I'm super strongly opposed to the weird pictures taken via webcam/bathroom mirror but I figured since I don't ever do it, and it's a new years resolution to learn how to wear red lipstick I'd show you how I look only semi-ridiculous in it.}

notice my new pearl necklace Beth and Addie got me for my birthday. #iminlove

and a kissy face cause lips look nice in this pose.

Anyways, I'm going to wear it more often. I kinda sorta like it. it's kinda weird though too.

A quick story.

So here's a conversation that took place between me and 2 of my roommates yesterday. It made me laugh. I will not say who said what as to not embarrass anyone. We'll be known as a, b, and c.

A- That's so cute! It's going to be perfect!
B- I doubt anything will actually happen with him.
C- Do you think Pocahontas thought something would actually happen with John Smith and her?
A- I don't think anything actually happened between them....
B- I thought it did!
A- only in the Disney movie....
C- yeah, and I'm sure you'd make a lot more money off that version than the real one.
B- So in conclusion, nothing will happen between us, but I can sell the story to Disney and make lots of money instead?.... great.

haha. It was a great moment.
I hope you enjoyed it.

Be excited for my 4 photo shoots in the next 3 days! I can't wait. They involve lace, and probably pearls, {and of course models} and a whole lot of photoshop. I'm even shooting a guy fashion piece! {not with lace and pearls though....}

21st birthday in 21 pictures

Joke. Actually it's 38 pictures.

Here are a few random things I can do now that I'm 21. Not that I'll be doing them.
Drink alcohol.
Gamble.
Be a waitress at a place that serves alcohol
Apply for adoption
buy a handgun
get a special kind of pilot's license.

So, pretty much not really anything terribly exciting.

Betsy and Lauren threw a cake waffle party {tradition} for me on my birthday last sunday.

Betsy & Jake got all crafty and made this cute little sign!

count 21!

betsy walked to my apartment in the fresh foot of snow!!

i so did not want to lay on their laps...

Beth and Addie threw me a mock-tail party. Mormon cocktails! super super fantastic idea for a 21st birthday party since none of drink!
It was awesome!
virgin martini. I just ate the olive.... olive juice and water mixed is a little weird... But I'm glad beth made this for me! I've always wanted to put an olive in my drink!
First drink

second drink. a margarita of sorts.

second drink. mojito

third drink

I do not know what it's called. grapefruit and grenadine I believe.

4th drink. so good!

Jake loved it. Probably my favorite!

he loved it!

Lauren was instagramming the whole thing.

fifth drink. Pina colada

sixth drink. a shot of Sparkling cider and cotton candy.
too sweet.

they look cool though!

7th drink. cherry bomb/shirley temple

8th drink. citrus something.

9th drink. orange I think. Super good!

Thanks so much Addie and Beth for the funnest mock-tail party!!

You definitely don't need to be drunk to have fun.
Also, sugar high's are followed by sugar lows.
I think we're all going to have diabetes tomorrow!

Now, I need a random person to ask me how old I am so I actually can tell someone who doesn't know me how old I am! Then maybe I'll actually feel like I'm 21.

I've always felt like 21 was the perfect age.
I hope this year will be the best year yet!
